r8 tint question

Should I tint my engine ba window, and if yes should i tint it less than my windows?

and what about the window behind the seats, i dont think i should but id like some feedbacks on it

If you don't drive your R8 at night a lot, you should definitely get tint. But IMO I think you should keep the engine bay clear.

I would say don't tint the engine bay because its sick to see the engine. But tint the sides. I love my 5%s

the R8 we have in TET has the engine bay lightly tinted, we just did a photoshoot so ill post up pics monday with the engine window in it.

I'd go with fusion and say a light tint would look good.

Also, just a small heads up...as you saw on your last thread, this forum is chalk full of haters. Don't let em get the best of you...show them up by being the bigger man and not stooping to their level.

Again, huge congrats on the R8. Wish my uncle had spent more time studying in college and less time on the peyote...maybe he'd throw me a nice gift or two, haha

Here is a couple of pics maybe it will give you some ideas. I went with 20% all round. I drive it at night all the time, and I have not had any problems with the back window. Dont do the window behind the seats. I would think that would back the back window really dark.

yea man i read that other thread and like the others said, there are a ton of dbags that post. like who are they kidding, of course any sane individual would take an R8 if one was afforded them. i thought i was lucky with my Breitling when i graduated college, and the fact that my parents helped me out with the S4 a few years ago haha. keep it clean and stay safe. and do a light tint on the window above the engine bay or leave it tint free, the engine looks ill through the glass

i did a 20 on the side, and im thinking of doing a 50 on the back now... yea I know, it didnt really bother me until he got a little nasty, i was given a 328 for college, and then i was given this, so of course im not going to say no.... thanks for all the pictures, the car looks sick
