I just noticed for the second time when I pulled into the garage and shut off a burning oil smell after shutting the garage door. Never notice it any other time, e.g., in parking garage at work or out in the open.
I have already had a valve cover gasket replaced and timing/belt job done about 5,000 miles ago. Running with 59,000 miles. What the hell is that smell. It goes into the Audi dealer tomorrow for the timing belt check, I can have them check it out, but dont want the stealership trying to get me to spend more money than I need. Im already letting them change the oil so I can get the free timing belt inspection....
What the hell could be going on with this low milage and a new valve cover gasket? Any typical leaks I should watch for? Im chipped APR 1 but engine wise thats about it...
