Wed or Thurs is fine, I suggest that place near Main/Jamboree where that S8 had a photoshoot, that was cool hopefully big enough for more cars. Another place with an open lot, is near Shady Canyon the big baseball field there, its a big area.

I went there today, security politely turned me away, "no photography without permission", pretty cramped area too.
