ok wtf happen now? outta no were i have no screen in the center of my cluster . it still works wen i open the door or wen it tells me to push in clucth to start but other then that it goes black. what broke now? thanks in advance.

guys no need to be dicks ive tryed the button before i asked the question i was driving wen it went out i seen it go out ...
and before all you assume im just another guy that doesnt know dick about cars ive built multible vr turbos, 2.0 turbos, g60 turbos bmw m20 turbos s50 supercharged among many high $ na builds ya all my personal cars also. so dont treat me liek a pos who doesnt know what there talking about alright?

calm down no one is inferring you're an idiot. Trying to prove you know what you're talking about makes you sound... i dunno but its not positive. If you knew about the button you should have said "i already tried turning it on and off with the button" because you would know it was a possibility and one that WE would consider.

i guarantee everyone owning a B5 has had that question when their cluster wasn't on. God knows how many customers i had with the problem when i still worked at a shop.

since its not turned off, i have no idea what the problem is. (edit: unless of course the on/off switch lost its damn mind and broke... *shrug*)

serious note: I think there is a single plug on the back of the cluster that gives it power, maybe take the cluster out and see if all the wires are intact.
