    also check out ebay.de.

Be careful...a lot of sellers are only selling left (link) or right (recht) headlights.

You'll want to find the guy selling the complete set.

I ordered a pair of DS1 HIDs a few days ago

Will these work / plug and play?

Also, what does this manufacturer mean by "Requires removal of stock HID components & bulbs from OEM headlight to be installed in Euro housing."

    Thanks!

You will need to re-use your factory ballasts and bulbs as the housings do not include those components. Since you bought new ballasts and bulbs (assuming that's what you meant by HID's), you need not worry about the component transfer. I'm not sure if the housings from ECS include auto-leveling motors though.

    Hi Max,
sorry I cannot help with these headlights. Black single xenons is nearly the only set I have never had for sale. Way too hard to find because they were really short in production untill the bixenons came out.

    Thanks for your PM though!
    Jens
So basically guys, don't hold your breath. We need to find these elsewhere (and not pay $800+ for them!!).

If you think $800 for a set of headlamp housings is a good price, I guess you're used to getting screwed. No offense.

Those aren't real e-codes but that doesn't mean they wouldn't work.

    Model: B6 A4, S4
    Manufactured by: Avalon Motorsports

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The new B6 Black Euro Spec Housings are the perfect solution to upgrading both the cometics and the light output for you A4 or S4. These lights offer a super stealthy appearance as well as a much sharper light beam cutoff, identical to the European specification units.

The Black Ecode Single Xenon housings, offered exclusively by Avalon Motorsports, are the "no brainer" solution to upgrading your headlights. Manufactured by a subsidiary of Hella and made to the highest standards, the Avalon Housings are available at a fraction of the price of similar Valeo units. They utilize H7 projectors, which in most cases, provides equal or greater output than the standard D1S projectors, particularly in the lower portions of the beam pattern.

*** Note: If your vehicle came stock with H7 halogen bulbs, these are plug and play. If you are currently using D1S or D2S xenon lighting, you will need to install an H7 kit. We have upgraded 55W set ups available with lifetime warranty making this a perfect time to upgrade from your dismal 35W set up.

    Re: E-Codes?

Bryan from Avalon said that he has no Xenon housings in stock and that if I were to order any of the 3 combination colors from the website, the charge on my credit card would be more than what it says on the website.

Plus and 3-4 week wait time.
