So when I fill up with gas I have a hard responsive pedal... as I drive and the gas obviously is being used and I tend to lose a significant amount of power as the gas gague goes down...

Anyone deal with anything like this? I'm guessing change out the fuel filter?
    any ideas?

It might be mental, but I feel the same thing in my car. If I have a half tank and go to fill up, the second the car is full it seems to pull a bit harder. If this is actually a problem, it could also be why I'm getting less than great gas mileage.

I believe that it is physiological. I feel this too, but its due to the fact the car doesnt accelerate as quickly as it does when empty. hth
