    Random bluetooth disconnections

Sometimes my car will just play the phone disconnect sound and I see the msg BT Off while I am driving. It doesn't happen every time, just sometimes randomly. To get it back in sync I have to restart my phone. Any ideas?

I have the same issue...both on my old 1st gen iphone and now on my 3G iphone too. What phone are you using? Sometimes it comes back for me if I just turn the bluetooth off and back on on my phone...easier than restarting it.

my iphone does it when it's running out of batteries... maybe not your problem? gd, that thing really seems suck down the juice when it's connected via bluetooth, though.

Yup, that's what I do. It's weird, it seems to do this inconsistant stuff if I turned off the radio recently. I have an old school Motorola SLVR though...

Yea, I have a Samsung (some random letters and numbers) phone. It usually has most of its battery power when this happens, but I will try another bluetooth phone with it to see if maybe its the phone.

    Re: Random bluetooth disconnections

never happened to me using my 1st gen iphone. now, happens to me every now and then with my 3g iphone. hope it's fixed with today's software 2.1 update... that is if it's the phone's problem, and not the audi's.

Every now and then my 3g will do that but it always will connect after a minute or so. This only happens every once in a while
