A6 Dealer Brake Job Rattle Pads

I think I posted about this awhile ago but can't seem to find the thread. I took our 2003 a6 in for a complete brake job at our local dealer a few months ago. Its the wifes car and I don't drive it much but shortly after that brake job I noticed a rattle coming from the front end/pads. I really notice it over the reflectors on the road. If I put a little pressure on the pedal the rattle disapears so I'm pretty sure its the pads and the job they did. Anyway I've had a back at the dealer I think 3 times now with no luck. If I recall they have tried new backing plates which they claim were cracked some, then new pads a spings. No luck with either of those. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem so that maybe I could point them in the right direction?

Well, I just got back from the dealer again for this issue and again they are unable to resolve it. Not sure what I should do now. Just live with it or will those loose pads cause a problem later on? Anyone have some advice on what to try next if anything?

maybe the rotors are worn?

The rotors were replaced with the brake job.

Im in the same situation right now, I am bringing it in on Thursday for a full brake job, they quoted me almost $1,000 for all new rotors and pads.
