looks good from the picture, but I've never heard of "autobahn88" before, and I also tend to be weary of eBay stuff. I might be just fine, IDK. You can't beat that price, that's for sure!!

If you search a bit people on here have used this before. Everything is ok but the TBB...

You forget they're chinese! They have small everything, including their hands...this smallness allows them to get into those trademark tight Audi spaces.

To the OP...search "EBAY SILICONE HOSES". On a different note, I currently use them and so far they're holding up. A little trimming goes along way on these parts...DO NOT USE THE F-HOSE or TBB hoses, they just suck!

I have these and they work fine for me. I use the gangsta ebay/Chinese TBB and F-hose… it sucked to actually put everything in because of trimming (as mentioned before), but I bought the AWE hose clamps for these and tightened the f out of them… I also used some silicone grease to help slide a few pieces on. Definitely have a box cutter around and try to make straight cuts. I used this method on 2 cars so far that have no problems with the hoses (knock very hard on wood). I say go for it. If the f-hose and tbb fail, just get the samco ones later, but I would still use the ones from chiner. BTW, I’m running 19lbs on stock k03’s with test pipes and nothing blew off or ripped, so hopefully that tells you something.

What's the point of buying them if the two most important hoses suck?

they're not bad. i just think people are worried about putting certain pieces on... but the silicone is thick as hell, so you should have to problems with it.

Re: 12pc silicone hose on ebay

Same experience here with the autobahn88 hoses... good quality hoses but trimming required. TBB is suspect as mentioned (I'm not using mine either) and you need to trim the Y-Pipe/DV Hoses on the inside. My car doesn't have an F-Hose so I'm not using that hose either but the one I received looks fine visually so I'm not sure what issues Slow4 had with his.

Re: 12pc silicone hose on ebay

I got a set of these for 100$ shipped (no name ones, not even Autobahn88) they look real good, and they're reinforced. I've only put on the TBB thus far, and it took some modifying.. it was too long on the largest side, the inside pipe stoppers had some 'casting flash' on it and and the boost sensor sits too high to use the engine cover.. but all these problems can be fixed with a knife and about 30 mins, and I've heard of people having similar problems with the Samco ones as well.. for the price, I still think it was worth it.

Re: 12pc silicone hose on ebay

I just finished installing mine yesterday (last hose was the one for the LH turbo, it was a total bitch to put on)

the hoses for the intercoolers fit fine, no trimming needed, but the rest needed small tweaking.

for the y-pipe ones, i wouldn't bother installing them, they rub on the front engine cover and don't fit well at all, looks pretty bad. other than that, go for it!

Because I had already replaced the OEM TBB with a Samco before buying the hoses.

It just looked funny and I can only imagine what trimming I might have needed to do on the inside (its too small to fit anything in to trim).
