Keep or Sell the A6?

I am trying to debate whether I should keep or sell the Audi? I got an offer for 10 grand on it. I owe 10,200. The price of these cars are degrading quick.

I have owned her for a year, put about a grand in maintenance on it.
Before I sell it I have to get the radio unlocked and replace the valve cover on it.
The car has 71,800 miles and is a 2.7T 6 speed with the sport package and premium package. Its a 2001.
I have a BMW 330ci as well that is almost payed off..
What should I do?

only an APR front snub mount and silicone hoses, I bought this for my wife but she wants to get rid of it because she is afraid to drive the manual and wants an auto

Sell the 330, use the $ to go stage 3+ on the A6, do some nice cosmetic mods too, use your incredibly hot A6 to help find a better girl that already has a car she likes

Well seeing as he said the BMW was almost payed off, I would get rid of the A6. Sounds to me like you are looking at this from money stand point. It's rare when you can pretty much break even with what you owe and what you are getting for it. As you said, these things are cheap as shit. You can always buy another one down the road.

i would keep the 330ci. Those things for sure handle better than our boats. As long as you don't need a big car, keep enjoying the coupe!

I still say sell the BMW, but its your car, and this is a Audi forum so your going to get alot of ppl say keey the A6, but look at it this way, (my opinion) the Audi is a much better looking car and is built alot better, the BMW can out handle it, but the A6 isn't that bad at all, and once you do some work to it, it handles just as good, and to be honest, the BMW seems like a chick car, well thats all i see driving them. BUT! the BMW is almost paid off, soo w/e. either way you still end up with a german car, and thats all that matters.

Sell the Audi! Pay off the Bimmer, shop for a later model Audi and make a reasonable down payment to bring down the cost of your monthly if its being financed. You will have only 1 car payment. Dont get too attached emotionally to the car, remember cars will not make you money but have you spending it.

No its only gonna cost me about 90 for the radio and I'm doing the valve cover myself. I have spent a grand so far (timing belt 75k service)

It doesn't matter which car you owe the money on in terms of which one to sell. Irrelevant financially. You own both. Sell Audi to pay off loan, sell BMW to pay off.... That's a red herring. And 2001 A6 2.7t 6sp will not depreciate a whole lot, here out.

$10K for unmodded A6 -6sp is about right if in nice condition. Sport, premium, 6 sp, already did the t-belt (& water pump, I hope) -- man, so you are ready to make it way outperform 225 hp bimmer. (Cont'l arms may be next, though.)

Jury is pretty much in -- Plan A: sell BMW for what she'd prefer, but make sure you grab, say, $3 or $4K out of proceeds, get chip, sways, look into downpipe issue, put on spoiler, still a few bucks for misc (a lot of nice, used rims out there). Or, go Endeee's route (Plan B).

I just wanna keep both, I have a alot of sentinmental value to the Bimmer, plus about 5-7k in mods. One is a coupe another is a sedan, so they both serve a purpose. I would let the wife drive the bimmer(tip) but it sits really low and she already fucked up the front. I'm about to get a pay raise so maybe I will wait and start house hunting then
Control arms were done with all CV boots too
plus I only owe about 2k on the Bimmer

I couldn't afford an M3 (I got the balls to admit it)
So I made a project out of my 330, I've had her for 2 years and invested a lot, thats why I couldnt ever sell it! Yes either M3 swap next or supercharger, I might just go FI with a limited slip dif and 3:91 gears. I will be faster than the M, but the E46 M3 came out when I was a senior in High School and was my dream car so, this is as close as I can get to it..unless trade in both cars which will never happen!

I dont have kids but this is as close as you can get...spoiled brats always bickering over their mod budget! Different cars serve their different purpose A6 is a 6 speed and is faster off the line,good for long trips and more comfortable, 330 gets more looks and I can RWD all over the place kickin the ass end out
