    diverter valve questions

I've got an 04 A6 2.7t and i went with the 710N (tt) DVs to replace my stock ones. Well when I looked at my stock DVs they are bosch and match part numbers except for the last 3 digits, 116 instead of the 114 of the new ones. Does that mean they were already replaced by the original owner or are the 114s better when I go to chip my car? Also, it looks like the clamps are reusable except the tiny one, do I have to do go Audi for replacements or just the parts store for a tiny screw type like the other 2?? Thanks for the help in advance.

    Re: diverter valve questions

Hey buddy, there's a big thread that i started with the DV's but mines were for the Forge stuff.. anyways. as for the unreusable clamps. NO you can't find it anywhere. the ones you find at your local stores won't fit. These "one-and-done" clamps are Audi only. the tiny screw ones you find at the store won't make a perfect circle shape and it will be useless. also, Becareful when using the same hose, they might crack when you took them apart.. you should seroiusly consider some silicone vacuume hose. but you need to buy the one's where it's 3 or 3.5 MM hoses. 3.5MM is best but you need to order them online. i can't seem to find these at any auto part store. i bought mines from Ebay and you basically need about 9 inches of this stuff. too bad you don't live in NYC else i would of hook you up with some, i bought about 10 feets of 3mm..

when you get the silicone hoses, you basically don't need any type of clamps.. but i guess zip tie it for peace of mind...
