    Exclamation ATP Manifold Stud Thread Size???

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi guys,

    Can anyone tell me the thread size for the studs that connect from the manifold to a GT28 turbo for the ATP manifold?

    I have a feeling that I was sent the wrong studs . I received 8mm x 1.25 studs but I think I need 10mm x 1.5.

    So do I need:
    * 8mm x 1.25
    OR
    * 10mm x 1.5
    OR
    * Something else?

    Also, I would assume the same size studs are used for the wastegate port on the same manifold right?

    This is the ATP manifold I am referring to:

    For the 4 bolt flange T3 = 10mm, T25 = 8mm

    The wastegate port is 8mm on either

    Ok awesome. I am running the T25 manifold so I do have the right bolts. Guess I just need to clean up the threads in there. it was really sloppy in there.

    Thank you, I thought I was going to have to hunt down other studs to put in there since I was planning to put everything together this weekend.

    If for some reason your manifold ended up having 10mm studs you can get them at a Napa Auto Parts real cheap instead of ordering them online from somewhere. It shouldnt though if it is T25 unless you bought it used and someone upgraded to larger studs.

    I don't think that is the case...

    Although I might have to upgrade the hardware since one of the holes looks a marred up. I'm going to try to tap it with a 8mm first to clean up the threads then if that doesn't work I'll head over to NAPA (thanks for the tip btw, didn't even think of napa).

    Yeah they are real cheap, I bought some studs there once for like $1 a piece (7/16" size) little bigger than 10mm and some studs for the head were less than $1 a piece.

    Re: ATP Manifold Stud Thread Size???

    Got the studs into the manifold and decided to bolt up the turbo since it's easier to do now just in case I need to customize anything before this weekend when it is finding a new home under the hood of my car.

    I did however notice what looks like a casting screw up. It looks almost like there is a bubble under the flange where the turbo connects to the manifold. I tried to snap a shot of it but my camera blows. Is there anything I can do about that? Like fill it with something?
