I need advise for dropping itank Bosch 044 fuel pump

    Hi!
I have a Passat 1.8T 2002 which I currently try to make it BT.
My problem is now with the fuel pump I thought I can drop in.
I thought (my baddddd) that Audi A4 B5 and Passat B5.5 have the same fuel pumps or at least the same swirl pots.
My surprise was great when I found out to be totally wrong on that, especialy after buiying the $425 drop in kit from 034 Motorsports.
Below is a pic of the OEM Passat fuel pump assy and the 034 kit side by side:

Do you think is it possible to install the 044 Bsch pump in the OEM swirl pot?
    Could you suggest a solution?
Can anybody from 034 Motorsports chime in?
    TIA!

The only way to find out if it fits... is by pulling them apart and finding out for your self by trying to make it fit.... thats how most people do things is by trying and making it fit some how.....

Just by looking at the pics.. im sure i can retro fit it somehow..... and make it fit in to the OEM location

If you want 034 to chime in then email them. They are too busy to troll forums waiting for their name to pop up.

I am bumping it up top due to lack of feedback and no progress.
I couldn't find any Golf Mk 4 "044 Bosch drop in thread".....on the respective forums.

I'm sure if you talk to 034 they can take the one you have now back and sell you a setup that will work for your passat.

Might even be able to just get away with buying their VW mounting bracket that then mounts to the stock parts.

So it ends up looking like this.
