    bottomed out hard in 2000 s4

    bottomed out hard, FUCKED up my oil pan, and replaced it, leaking from small visible crack next to oil filter....cracked block or what? lost coolant to....

    probably cracked the oil cooler/ filter housing.

    I did the same thing...funny! Loved when the alarms went off and all that oil got on my tires causing me to spin out...I cried that day.

    I cracked my oil pan and a coolant line at the same time .. could be the same thing

    thanks for the ideas guys im gonna check it out soon its tough bein in school and findin time for that, ill get pics up ASAP.

    1 question....

    is the oil cooler/filter housing a replacable component or not? ideas of cost?

    thanks again everyone keep the ideas comin if anything else comes to mind
