    AC help

The AC in my car takes a realllly long time to get cool air blowing out of it. Also, when it does start to work only the leftmost driver-side vent seems to work and blow out cold. The vents to the right of that get warmer and warmer (with the rightmost passenger vent being no/barley any AC at all). This is even after driving my car from the beach to my house ( about 70 miles).

I'm planning on taking my car in to have it looked at but I am new to the German car scene and don't know who to trust as far as mechanics go for Audis. If anyone could please give me a diagnosis/price of what to expect than i would feel more confident going into a mech.

    Thanks
    -ryan

    Re: AC help

sounds like u may need a recharge. If its taking a while for it to get cool, most of the time it just needs to be recharged..hope that helps

    Re: AC help

My problem doesn't sound as had as the OP's but my air sucks too. It is now fully charge and a lil colder but not like other AC out there. Hell my 93 sentra's air is colder and it has never been recharged.

    Re: AC help

The Left/Right/Center temp distribution problem is likely a stuck or inop air distribution servo motor. The A/C refrigerant charge won't effect the distribution unballanced conditon. Are you setting both sides to the same temp?
