    Not being able to access certain gears (ie. R, 1, 6), TONS of play in shifter when in gear, difficult to find gears or get it into neutral. To repair either buy the stock part or JHM upgraded shifter linkage. It can be installed without pulling much, but it is a pain. you need to remove the tranny mount to mess with it I believe.
