    Windshield decals, removing residue

I've noticed in the mornings that where the "05" and "Certified Pre-Owned" decals were when the car was for sale there is an outline appearing prominently.

I have washed the car several times and used windex, but they're not going away. Anyone experience this and how did you eventually get rid of 'em?

    ^^

+1 For Goo Gone. Back in the day I parked in the High School lot w/o a pass and I got a big orange warning sticker slapped on there. Goo Gone made short work.

Goo Gone works on tree sap as well. My wife got some on her new Tahoe and it came right off. Good stuff.

You can use a razor blade with windex or any basic window cleaner. Otherwise Goo Gone will do the trick.

Hot water or 3m Adhesive Remover.
Don't use a razor blade. You don't want to scratch the surface your cleaning.

just don't get goo gone mixed up with Goof Off. They do the same thing but are two totally different products. Goof Off is toxic and will harm your paint if any gets on there.
