Pasadena GTG, someone took my camera.

Alright, well last wed I decided to make an appearance at the GTG in Pasadena and on the way out the door, I grabbed my girls Nikon coolpix 5100, 12.1 megapixel camera to snap a few shots and maybe some exhaust vids. Well, someone snatched it from the front seat of my car. Good going guys. Whoever took it is a total tool and if I ever catch you snapping pics with it, I'm donna do some damage to your cranium, on site, immediately.

The funny thing about it is that even though it cost me a nice chunk of change, it's you that's gonna pay the price as you have just reversed your karmic energy and are now in a negative state. Think of it as an overdraft in your karmic bank you poor sack of shit.

Geez, what kind of crap is that? You'd think that when you go to a GTG that you can leave your car unlocked and people will respect that. We all love these cars and should be able to get together without incident, but I guess not.
Whomever took it definately has some bad karma coming their way.

here is the car in question, Sprint Blue RS4. It was snatched out of the passenger seat. As you can see the windows were down...I think the dome light was on as well. Also, there was no car parked on his passenger side.

Raudidriver, I'm sooo sorry to hear about what happened. I wasen't there but 2 things come to mind.


(1) Did a stranger walk through the crowd that didn't belong as a spectator and took advantage at that moment?

(2) If it is someone among us who was there?

(3) If all that was there were the people that attended and was from Audizine or from other websites, I'm not or you folks are never going to feel comfortable knowing I/you can't trust anyone at any future G2G's.

I suggest:


The suspect return camera and contact the owner by PM email and both of you let it go and don't post your feelings on a public forum who it was and discontinue the subject. Owner can say he got it back but that should be all. On with life as usual.

The goal: Owner gets it back

Lesson: Suspect could have had his ass kicked never to atttend another G2G with Audizine folks or any site we can make him known if found out. Suspect gains his prevailage to hang with us again, respect restored. Your consious restored, and you did the right thing.



If it was as stranger, sorry to say Raudidriver it was your fault for not being careful because you know you were in a public place. If it were in the middle of the desert and it was just you guys I would understand, but really!

In the meantime, I would be willing to pool $10 if others would too! to help replace it? Besides, isn't this what it's all about? Making friends and helping out when nessesary?

I was driving my Sprint Blue RS4, Titanium edition. i take partial blame for it, that's why I'm not to upset. These things happen when you live in a world with less fortunate people, and I'm not talking about finances here. I speaking about morals. Anyways, got a great deal at the Hilton Hotel Resort and Spa down here in Mission Bay ($116 per night Hotwire) and it's going to be a great day. This also forces me to use my DLSR, which never gets enough attention.

It is kind of ironic that the Pasadena PD rolled throw and we had a theft.

Alright back home and went through the car again, with a fine tooth comb, and nothing. I remember seeing two people over by the passenger side of my car for a little bit. I didn't think anything of it because I thought they were looking at the steering wheel. Now that I think of it, wouldn't a better view have been from the driver's side? I don't want to name the people that I saw, because if they are innocent, well you know..... but I think that they are the ones.

Will I still make it out to the meets? Yes! I wish I would have had that alarm the goes off when someone sticks their hand inside the window.

To the Person who took the camera. My name is Ed Lee and I would appreciate it if you returned the camera. I have an idea of who you are because I saw you standing by the passenger side of my car for quite a while. Please return my camera to the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center, 1000 S Fremont, Alhambra, CA. 91802. Please address it to Carmen Luna as that's who the camera belongs to.

If you do this all will be forgotten and there will be no hard feelings. I understand impulses make people do stuff that they would not normally do. Sometime you just want to make things right, well you have a chance here.
