Those are the $15 black pods from Summit Racing, the gauges are Stewart Warner Maximum performance (black with "alum" trim ring).
Cheaper than VDO's and look almost identical to stock gauges.
I pulled off the upper column cover and measured everything out so that I could still see the ambient temp screen and most of the Tach. I did have to sacrifice 0-30mph and anything >6700rpm as far as visibility goes. I used the supplied hardware with the gauge cups and I haven't had an issue with them yet. Word to the wise, if you have any of the corrugated plastic tube stuff (I forget the name) that comes with amp install kits, use that to route your boost line and wires through. It looks better than a couple wires wrapped in electrical tape.
Eventually I will move the oil pressure gauge down into a panel where the ashtray was (like the old school 90CS Quattro's and Coupe Quattro). The other gauges I will install are a wideband, fuel pressure and EGT. The EGT will replace the oil press on the column and the fuel pressure will go down in the panel in place of the ashtray. The wideband won't match any of the other gauges, so it will go in the most left vent hole.
