Stereo Installers in Foco?

Hey,

I'm looking maybe to get a new head unit with dvd, nav, etc. for my B6 and right now it's probably going to be the Pioneer Avic-d3. Anybody recommend any installers over say car toys, best buy, or any of the chain stores in Fort Collins? Or would you just say that one of the chains is better anyways? I haven't bought any aftermarket audio stuff in like 6 years for my explorer so i don't have any good info on installers.

First off, you may have some trouble finding the avic d3. I believe they have been phased out.

Honestly, i wouldn't trust my car with best buy or places like that. Dedicated car audio places are better, but honestly, if they are anything like in the springs, i'd stay away from them.

If you want, buy the head unit you want online, and I'll help you install it.

http://crutchfield.com is a very reliable site with great customer service, however they don't always have the best prices.

What year is your b6? What sound system does it have now? (bose/non bose)

Also, what is your price range?

My B6 is a 2003 with non-bose system. I picked the avic-d3 because i've heard the least griping about it of any of the head units and more people on AZ seem to have it. I've heard the newer pioneers have bugs in the software that have yet to be worked out.

I suppose i could go kenwood or alpine but i dunno.
