Question About An Option

Automatic Headlights. What Package was that part of, and why have I only seen it in Ultra Sports?

Auto leveling would be Xenons I would thing, My 2002 has it cause I have Xenons

Meaning you don't have to turn it off when you turn off the car. You can leave the lights "permanently" on and they turn on or off when they sense they are needed.

He's referring to this, the switch that has the "Auto" feature. And I would guess that it's apart of the "Convenience Package"

Oh, that. Dunno, lol. I have an 05' USP and I have it. I thought that it was part of the lighting package too and didn't think it was exclusive to the USP.

I looked at every CPO '05 in black, silver, and dolphin a couple of days ago on Autotrader, and not a single one of them had it................

i think it's either the lighting package or premium package.

It's not listed as an option in any package or standalone option in the 2003 spec sheet.

For 2004 and 2005 - look at the last page of this PDF. It came with the Premium package for the V6 or the Lighting package on the 1.8t.

Seems not many people opted for it. I just hit the same thing for '04s. I found one that had it. The only thing that set it apart was the fishscale trim. But then I found two more with the trim, without that option. I wonder why the lighting package wasn't a desired option.

I was reading that and it seems kinda strange cause I have alot of the stuff in the Premium package but not all of it. I'm sure the options were different for the USP.

I don't know if it helps but I have it (doesn't work, may be my wiring or vag settings) and the fishscale trim.
