Need to replace stock front rotors for 96 a4?

Im not trying to go with a big brake kit or something. I saw brembo rotors for my car for like $60 for each side.

Any info on what or what not to get?

A good cheap upgrade would be to go with some TT caliper brackets and some a8 rotors.

Otherwise those are pry fine rotors to go with but if you watch you can find cheaper rotors on sale at your local autoparts store. Just make sure you stick with some good pads.

avoid cheap drilled rotors, stick with plain or slotted only if you must. cheap and drilled usualy end up with cracks. Otherwise all rotors are cast iron/steel so the only thing you're paying for is thickness. Brembo, if they're genuine are a good company, but honestly for DD it dosen't matter, replacement anything are going to be better than worn down. good pads like jaustin said, are far more important to braking than rotors are.

Depending on your budget, pbr ceramics, or hawk hps.

Both are good, i have the pbr's and really like them. The hawk pads are almost $100 more for the fronts last time i looked.
