Just installed Symphony II+ - Now no keyless entry

Hey folks, after a few trials and errors with the wiring harness, I just finished installing my symphony II+ into my 03' a4. I disconnected the negative terminal during the process. Now that everything is back together, I no longer have keyless entry. When i press the lock or unlock buttons on my factory key, nothing happens. Did disconnecting the battery cause this? Did the radio install? If possible, how do i re-program the key, i have vag-com. Thanks as always for your input.

Insert your key, press the bottom button on the remote, turn the key to position one, wait 5 seconds and your key is relinked to the car.
