boost needle bouncing

Scenario:
Cruise control on at 67mph roughly cruising down the highway. Every once in awhile the car will start sputtering and feel like its dying, so i look at the boost gauge and the needle is bouncing from 10hg vac to 20hg vac back and forth back and forth semi quickly. Does this sound fucked up? does it everyday on the way to work, and i just noticed it within the past month. I'll try to get a video tomorrow on my way to work...

Mine does that too but it doesn't feel like it's dying. I just notice the boost gauge jumping up and down.

I don't use my cruise control anymore really.

im no expert but the needle bouncing up and down is the computer giving the car more throttle to keep the speed the same and then letting off the accelerator. As for loss of power it could be a fuel issue. how does it feel with wide open throttle?

well ive recently come across a problem with my s4 when im under full boost its bogs down but shakes the whole car like it looses power then regains it but then just lowers the boost to 10lbs. kinda sounds like it might not be getting enough air or fuel or a boost leak but i doubt its a boost leak since its still vacuum. Again im no expert just from my experience.
