The white one has Hyper black 19" VMR Reps with 35 Offset i believe. 8" wide.

Shooting photos does not make your photographs the result of a "photoshoot". Most of those are seriously noisy, out of focus, mis-exposed, or some combination of the above.

Wait for the right lighting and camera. You said you had an SLR waiting for tomorrow, right? And no night or peak day shots - should be done close to dusk.

It's not necessarily fair to say 'buy a real camera' - you can get decent results even with a point and shoot (although the EXIF data shows an HP PhotoSmart R817 which is not going to have a lot of features) and in fact buying something like an SLR not only doesn't make you better, but can so overwhelm you that you'll never learn and improve.

Taking shots at night makes it even harder to get good results with a point and shoot, but with a camera that has good exposure adjustability there's no reason you can't get something workable. I took the picture below with a Canon S70, for example. It's hardly pro quality, but with some work you don't have to have a digital SLR.

true, but at this day and age, i would think *any* half decent point & sheet digicam can take better long exposure pictures than the OP's. hell, a decent CAMERA PHONE might be able to pull off better shots

i only bring it up because auditude tends to do alot of these "photoshoots" with friends, so it might be worth it to either 1.) invest in decent camera or 2.) find someone who has one

fwiw, i did google the HP R817 cam real quick, and it does seem to have some major issues with image noise

Yup, I was curious about it too, and one of the major issues that was mentioned in the review I skimmed was with noisy long exposures. But, I don't think there was any effort made with the exposure anyway - EXIF data shows most of them at 1/60th and some at 1/90th. By comparison, you can see the picture I posted had a 1 second exposure and that was in a parking garage with decent lighting.

If anything, I would take option 3 - do some reading, learning, experimenting, and practicing.

On a more constructive note, Pete, I think what would really set off the look of your grille would be to either tint/smoke your headlight lenses a bit, or find a way to paint some of the inner parts of your headlight housings black. Something about how shiny/silvery they are looks slightly out of place.

Other than that, LOVING the new front end, now your car looks as mean on the outside as it is on the inside!

I love that Deval bumper so much. With all these pictures that people keep posting up, I'm going to end up buying it. I told myself I wouldn't do any visual mods to the cars though... Only stick to strictly performance....
