Need Radio code help!

Disconnected my battery and radio went into safe mode...the closest dealer is an hour and a half away. If there is a tech on here that can retrieve the code I will paypal you some $$$

i do not know about audi...
but if you need to know the radio code....you may need to give them your radio number....

check your owners manual, i know some people jot them down on the front or back cover, hopefully you'll get lucky. (The dealer can retrieve codes also, but they charge, i think this is the only other way to go)

No the previous owner ripped out the codes....just dont wanna drive 3 hours total to get the code

My dealer didn't charge me. You might be able to call them and get them to give you the code. They usually generate it based off of the serial number of the headunit. Otherwise, you and your baby are going to have 3 hours of good ol bonding time.

I heard it is with the spare tire. what set of numbers is it? how long is the code?

Where do you get the headunit code on the back of it? Guess it looks like a trip to the stealership tomorrow.. Although my headunit wasnt working before so this could be some wasted money.

I don't need my radio code yet, but just wondering...

Is this the little sticker in the spare tire well that's supposed to have it?

...because as you can see, the sticker is peeled off just enough to disclose this information.

Your local dealership should be able to look this information up you either by your VIN number, or worst case, the serial number printed on the back of your radio. A respectable dealership will not charge you for providing the unlock code.
