Our Aluminum and Delrin shift knobs are now on sale on our new site. This site is about 90% populated but is fully functional. Feel free to browse and place orders.

INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING - JHM Weighted Black Delrin®/Aluminum Knob w weighted steel insert (12mm x 1.5 thread fits all A4, S4, A6, Passat and other VW/Audi vehicles with screw on knob), Set Screw for adjustments, Plastic Boot Spacer, and Low Strength Thread Locker.

NOTE: With the amount of customization available for these knobs, plan on 2 to 4 weeks for delivery depending on current demand and what options you select. If you want a fully customized knobs to your specs email us at [email protected] for a quote.

Aluminum vs. Black Delrin®: Aluminum can get hot to the touch in hot or warm temps. Knurling makes it feel less hot to the touch. So this is where Black Delrin® comes in. Delrin® stays a lot cooler than Aluminum does, even though it is black in color. So if you are up in the air about the type of knob you want and are not purely not picking one style due to its looks, then consider these differences.

Matt worked over the weekend to finalize more of the processes and write the rest of the engraving programs. They are pretty much all done except for the final engraving and knurling. The details are always the fun part.

It has only been 2 weeks from the initial release and our store says 2 to 4 weeks.

However we will begin shipping them as they are completed this week and should have them all out and be caught up with faster future production by the end of next week.

UPDATE 9-25-08

Shipping about 10 tomorrow. The first shipment. Then about 5 a day after that until we get caught up. So everyone should be getting theirs soon.

Unfortunately we don't just build only knobs all day. But we do have the processes streamlined now so in time 90% of orders should ship within a week.

Sorry for the delays as of late guys to ship these out. Matt had to leave town for a week (my machinist). He is back now so we should start shipping more out next week and get back on track to get us down to a week or less turn around time.

Got my knob the other day! Recess worked out well and it looks alright with the perf leather. Had to use it already too! Woke up yesterday and it was 38deg!!! Glad I didn't have to grab the knob! Nice knob. Machining is top notch, and the weight is perfect!

Glad to hear. So you got the Delrin one?? Those do way better with the cold and the hot, they don't retain the temps like aluminum.
