Reverse Lights

Does anyone else think our reverse lights aren't bright enough? I have 20% on my windows. Maybe that is the issue. However, I had the same % on my 98 A6 windows and had no issues with the brightness of the reverse lights on that car. Opinions??

I have 5% tint and blacked out tails and if there are not any lights around I can't see shit at night

i put in reverse then the parktronic sounds then reverse lights come on, perfect!

i have the same problem it really sucks, last night had had some fog on the rear window and it was useless

put on your rear fogs to help brighten it up...

I haven't really had a big problem with it and I have 15% tint. If it's really bad, I just roll my window down.

haha yeah, that's why i went from 20% back down to 35%... couldn't see shit at night
good thinking on the fog light, i'll have to do that in the future

tiny rear windshield --> rain + fog + 35% tint = useless

Yeah, I cant see for shit at night. I was thinking about buying some new ones with LED inserts. I am however going to try the fog light idea. Cheers

What bulbs are in the reverse lights? I know you can buy bright-ass halogen replacements now for 1156 bulbs. I had them in the brake lights in my jetta

the picture is super cheezy, but they actually are pretty decent. They basically look like a H3 bulb with a 1156 base. The A4 takes a 7506 in the reverse light, but its the same base as a 1156 so they will fit.
