I have about $600 to spend, list me some stuff guys

Once upon a time long long ago (3 months), I ordered an AWE exhaust. Well i'm done waiting and i'm canceling it Monday. So I have $900 to drop. I'm ordering a Podi gauge set for $200 and a replacement OEM DV for $60. The rest I don't know what to do with. I don't want a test pipe, or anything cosmetic really. I don't want anything like a lip or bumper that would make driveability even worse on my already low car. So i've got ears open for suggestions. No other exhausts please, i'm keeping my classy stock sound until I can afford Miltek/STaSIS later down the road.

I would save the $60 on the OEM DV and order the AWE's DV. then you shouldn't ever have to replace it. Clear corner, yellow fogs, debadge. tint if not tinted!

If the car was still relatively new it would definitely be debadged. But if I took them off now the outline of the badges would still be faded into my paint. D'oh.

I've got the ZiZa Yellow fog lights from ECS along with 20% tint. The picture does not have the tint in it.

I want to dark tint the amber corners in the headlight. I think it would be absolutely sick, and it would still be yellow when I turn = legal. I have the car vag-com'd to where they are now just the turn signals, they aren't constantly on. I just don't know how to get the bumper off.

You won't have a problem with your paint if you debadge it (especially not on a white car).

As for the corner lights, just remove the amber lense and then put some stealth bulbs in there. They're completely "chrome" when they're off, but still flash amber so they're legal. Here's a quick pic of the bulbs...

I had an 01 with the badges on in 06. and debadged it and it was fine. thats 5 years with it on. i have an 06 which i got in 08 and debadged it, thats 2 years and it's fine.

$200 after AZ discount for a pipe I could probably source from ebay if I looked hard enough. I'd like the louder intake, but i'm going to pass for that price. Good suggestion though.

I think i'm going to get the Podi gauge, DV, RS4 Sway, a mid-line $200 radar detector, and possibly a TomTom if I can fit that all into $900. And if I can, the leftover is going to posters for my apartment. I've already got a gutted Xbox and a turbo MR2 poster, along with my Scion grills, I need more stuff though!

I'm all for the radar det, but screw a damn GPS.....do you REALLY need one? You can't just look where you're going before you leave? I'd save the money on that and get a real mod. Get an iPhone or Blackberry instead of a TomTom.

Also, people need to pay more attention when suggesting things he already has like intakes - take a peek at his signature.

I'd go for the DV from AWE, RS4 Sway, the radar, and that puts you at about $400 (before installs of course, unless you can DIY both performance mods). If you can manage, definitely tint up the car - tint on a white car really looks hot, not to mention it's an investment that protects your interior from sun damage. Hope that helps!

You need the target URL for the image file, which can be obtained by right-clicking the image you're trying to post and clicking "Copy Shortcut" if it's available. If that is greyed out, click Properties... at the bottom of the same list that pops from right-clicking the image. In the center of the next window is a value labled "Address (URL): http://....whatever". Highlight that URL and press Control + C.

Once you have the URL on the clipboard, go back to your Audizine reply window, and check along the top. There is a little icon with a yellow square and what appears to a crude representation of a landscape (two mountains and a sun), which is the Image Insertion tool.

When you click this, it will open a window with a box that you will paste the copied URL in to. After you paste it in there, click OK, and you're set!

Let me know if you need any clarification.

I've got 20% tint, and I don't need nav at all, but it'd be nice. I lost my way 5 times going to get my car chipped at Cincinnati. I'll probably put that chunk towards tires instead. My dad is helping me with those, but if $200 extra chipped in gets me Nittos instead of Nexens, it'd be well worth it. My back left tire holds pressure at 13psi.

I'd be rollin' on R8 reps right now actually, but I decided I don't want rims; the bling factor is not worth the decrease in almost every performance aspect for the money you pay. I like the stockers plenty anyways.

get an STS. so far, its the most appreciated change that i have made to the car. i have the nuespeed sts but if i could go back i would probably buy the JHM. then i would go with tint since its also something you will get to enjoy all the time. leftover cash, save for a BT.

just curious, why dont you just warranty your DV for free?
