OEM GPS and Sirius antenna to Avic D3 question

I thought I could deal with and I just can't take it anymore. I don't want to have my Sirius and GPS antenna for my Avic D3 on my dash anymore. I just did the Sirius unit install yesterday and I need to find a better way to do this. I want to use the OEM Shark Fin on the car to get my GPS and Sat radio signals. How hard is it for the GPS? After searching this forum and AVIC411.com forums as well as a little research on my own car, I do believe that the Sirius part is easily solved and I can just shave the plastic around the connector in the trunk and plug it right in. Just need to find power for the SIRPN2 unit there in the trunk. Anyone have any ideas for that one? Also, more importantly, is there a way to use the factory NAV antenna for the D3? I could swear there was a SAT wire of some kind back there in the dash when I removed the Symphony II head unit. Any help would be appreciated guys.

You ever get this done? As I'll soon be in the same boat, with a Sirius Ant. and a GPS ant. And like you, I'd rather just use the shark fin.
