Why not get a digital VEI boost and vac gauge instead?

Or even better... a dual display. In this case boost and AFR but you can have any combo you want.

Re: where do i mount my boost gauge?

message Naudi_Mat. this guy can give you an AC vent with a circle cut out of it just like the AWE ones. looks OEM unlike the center vent mount pictured above just let him know how big your gauge is in mm and he'll make it for you.

here's a link with some pictures and info:

I have the same exact gauge in the same exact location. Just a gripe, I hate how it reflects on the window by the sideview mirror.

Re: where do i mount my boost gauge?

Derek, you have to tilt your head for your gauge to sit nicely lol. im going to mount my A/F gauge there as well i think when i get that sucka.... but yeah i have the AWE gauge in the center left vent, had it in the middle, and too many people including myself thought it was a clock. its just too far to look when you need to know what PSI you're hitting etc.

i have the NEW gauge from AWE as you can see, muchmuch better than the old one

Re: where do i mount my boost gauge?

the only boost gauge ive seen for the cluster is the OCT one. I actually have it. its nice and very stock looking, but it does not have vacuum and it is a little hard to read in very sunny and bright conditions. im looking for a gauge for the vent as well.

Re: where do i mount my boost gauge?

STFA, someone posted some pics of their boost gauge in their cluster, and it looked like shit IMHO, just looked thrown in and glued to the corner, didn't match the rest, ect. I never understood why people went w/ AWE boost gauge, Winston's podi gauge is an ALMOST perfect match to our cluster, I just don't like the steering column mount.
If you are going the center vent route, I have a brand new center vent w/ a cut out for a 52mm gauge that you can have for 20 shipped.

Also, anyone have an a-pillar housing for my podi gauge??

A-pillars i think aid in getting you pulled over. I prefer being a 4 door sleeper. Although a heads-up-display would be pretty tight.

    LOL.
a good friend of mine has that switch in his A4..
when its flipped down he runs 12lbs, and when flipped up 28lbs.

it is pretty cool I must admit, if it is placed in the right spot.

    That shifter is sooo sweet.

Mine's in the center-center vent for now. I'm working on a custom SPP style a-pillar one but having a hard time matching the A4 headliner trim with dye and can't find anyone willing to just sell me the S4 headliner material

two weeka ago when me and Roderick were at your house, i failed to mention to you how many clusters it took to make it.
I had to cut up 1 s4 cluster and 2 a4 clusters before i was done.

you prob. thought that i only used 1 cluster.

With shipping it's going to be almost $500

Edit: I'll add that I love mine and consider it worth the extra expense for something that does not retract from the look of the car.
