what are you trying to cover up? cigarettes, weed, spilled coffee, rotten food, mildew? its best to attack the source rather than mask the scent.

I have some sort of smell in my car as well that I really can't stand. Only seems to be when it is really hot out. I think its mildew or something.

I do use Zaino - Leather in a bottle but that only works for a day or so.

einszett cockpit premium works great, but i'm not fond of the smell particularly. it's nice and citrusy, but i just prefer new car smell :)

When I first picked up my car I could smell cigarette smoke from the previous owner. I found this stuff called Ozium and sprayed it in the vents in the car and opened the air filter box and sprayed that inside and out. To my surprise I havn't smelled the smoke since. I know you dont have a smoke smell but I bet it would work if you sprayed the same areas.

THanks for all the tips. Will look into them. I am not sure what it is I am trying to cover, but it's a strange smell.....Might be some shait in my A\C..

try to klima cleaner someone mentioned above... the recurring mold might be because the A/C drain is plugged (i've read this on other car forums) - anyone know where this is located on our cars?

I noticed a moldy smell coming from my vents last summer so now every few days when I am about to turn off my car for the night I blast the heat on high for about a minute to get rid of any moisture in the vents. I also do this as soon as the car is warmed up for a minute.

If it is a mildew smell I would get a new filter. They get moisture rather easily and at my 45k checkup they replaced it for free. Smell is gone but I know exactly what your talking about.
