what are most STAGE 3 guys seeing as far as IAT temps? and with what intercoolers?

About a 10 degree IAT rise during a 3rd gear pull - ER intercoolers.

Actual IAT depends on the ambient temp.

these are 4 out of a ton of runs last night.. outside temps were anywhere form 78-80 degrees. i don't know what to compare too.. but i feel that's a little warm for 78-80 degrees, i could be wrong though.

no, it's a custom fmic, made like ASPs but the core is 3.5" thick as opposed to 3".. im considering getting the ebay fmic though if i can find logs that show it's better at cooling... it's only 120 bucks.

why do your logs start at 4 K or right before ? you should try to do logs in 3rd from like, 2000 at full throttle that way you can get oodles of info haha... im not near my home computer right now but i do have ONE log of stage 3 on the ebay FMIC, and I can tell you it looks much flatter than that... it was a good intercooler, just not the look i was going for, i have AWE coolers now and my IATs dont rise as much as the ones you have pictured.

well that's just the data i choose to graph. since that's what factors into FATS and what not. usually i start my the runs around 3300 -3500

oh okay, lately ive been starting them real early on at like 2K this way you get a really nice graph of everything when you get it all down.

in that thread shows the stock intercoolers on a dyno, looks like a roller coaster, then the excel formatted numbers, in the far right colum show IATs with the FMIC in *C.

yeha i saw the excel file, it looked good, im just looking for a larger sample size, that and it was 63 degrees out. so i wanna see some logs hopefully in warmer temps.

they're both IAT graphs from diffent cars, temps, mods, etc.
