    *need help*car won't start

I pulled my car in the garage to put a new bumper on and it felt like it was misfiring a little. Started it up turned the wheel to the left no problem. Started it up and turned the wheel to the right no problem. Went to start it up to leave and nothing. It just sits there and cranks. I checked plugs and vacuum lines, nothing out of the ordinary. Also checked all the fuses. I'm stuck i have no idea what to do. Any help is appreciated.

Without VAG-COM or similar, first check the obvious things:

    Spark
    Fuel delivery.

Most common culprit is crank sender - if it fails, you'll lose both spark and fuel pump activation.

The fact you had a missfire prior to non-starting suggests something along those lines.

A faulty ECU could also be a possibility, but very, very rare.
