Bumper paint and install in N NJ. Other paint question also

Hey guys, I plan on getting an S-Line front bumper soon and need a place to paint and install. Any reasonable, good places in N NJ area? I know of some that deal with Audi dealerships, but looking for other opinions.

Also, how much would a bumper paint job cost about, so I have a basic idea? Can this bumper be installed on my own?

Last question, there is some companies that have S-Line bumpers used and are offering to sand and prime for $30 extra. Is this option worth it?

    Thanks for the help

Let the body shop sand and prep the bumper - this way if you have issues with the paint they can't try to blame it on whoever prepped the bumper. How good the paint holds up has allot to do with the prep work.

You can expect to pay 300-400 for a spray of your front bumper. A friend of mine works at a body shop - he's respraying my front bumper and doing some mods to it next weekend. If you want to see my bumper when it's done and have him do yours let me know.

Thanks a lot for the tip about the prep. makes lots of sense. What body shop and where does your friend work?

My friend works at Ferrari, Maserati, BMW. He's one of the head body guys with over 8 years experience.

He does side work, my bumper is getting painted there next weekend - if you go through the shop you will get charged out the ass.

He's allowed to do all side work as long as it is not a ferrari, maserati, or bmw.

My buddy has taught me well :) I actually know allot about paint work, I can easily tell if cars have been hit and had work done just from him teaching me. He's a very talented guy.
