    ok so im new here and i just got an 01 2.7 i did a few small mods but i have some problems i need to take care of 1st one is my passenger side front axle i went to a local shop and its 561 to replace an axle that is a refurb its like 300 somethin for the axle and 120 for labor but i was told a new axle is 700 somethin but i went on ebay and found one for 112 but i wanna know do you guys think the ebay axle is as good as oem

    You should check the brand on it to see who makes it.

    I had to replace my passenger side a couple months ago and I got a brand new Empi axle from ECS Tuning for $125 with no core charge. It was brand new and has no signs of balance issues at all.

    The only thing to note is that the inner joint arrives dry and you have to grease it yourself before installing. This is a tricky process since you have to slide the boot back to add the grease to the front half and then grease the back half. Once the back half is greased, you have to carefully get the axle in and try to not loose much of the grease in the process. Very messy to say the least.
