Ultrasport springs on base model a4

Anyone know exactly how much putting ultrasport springs on a base model a4 would lower the car?.. and yes id grab some aftermarket shocks/struts so my ride wouldn't be too bouncy lol

Ultrasports have the same springs that came on the '04-'05 sport package. So compare any Sport package A4 of those years to your car and you will have your answer. I think sport package cars are approximately an inch lower than non-sport A4s.

i would say buy a set of H&R springs and some struts, cause the Sport springs are nowhere near low enough u still are 4x4.

So, are the 02 B6 sports suspension different than 03 B6 , and those are also different than 04-05 B6?

To my knowledge the USP has S4 suspension.
And comparing the "Sport" A4 to the S4 I believe there is a difference in suspension/ride height--correct me if I'm mistaken...

So if your interested in a set of "USP/S4" springs, let me know because I have a set available. It would lower your car 1" all the way around from the information I have gathered.

^^wrong, S4 suspension is made for a heavier car, and hence will bounce like crazy on an A4

I have the sport suspension on my 02 sittin on 19's and the rear sits just above the tire but the front isnt quite low enough going to coilovers soon

The `02 sport suspension is the lowest OEM suspension they made for the A4. I've also heard that the `02 ECU has a fuel/timing/boost map that will produce more power than those in subsequent years.

It's not a full on side shot, but here is my `02 with it's originally equipped sport suspension (the windows have since been tinted). Nice looking car BOPOH

The color codes will match your axle class. Audi changed codes like every 6 months or so. Buying used springs on an A4 B6 is a gamble. Get the axle rating codes for the springs already on your car which will give you your car's axle class rating. Then check to see if the color codes on the ones you're getting are the same. Your local Audi parts department can look up the codes for you. Chances are you'll owe the guy a 6 pack by the time you are done as you may be calling him a few times. If you do not make sure you MAY install springs and not get any drop.
