Removing Front Plate?

Hey guys, I just got a b6 avant and I want to remove the front plate. I took it off today to take a look what was under it and there were about 6 holes in the front bumper. Do I need to buy a new peice or can I get anything to fill the holes? thanks.

They sell the panel at the dealer that you have to have painted.

just buy a new piece... to fill it with bondo is not worth it, since itll prolly cost the same.

i actually took mine off and to the body shop and they filled it and painted it for $60.
Take it off carefully and try not to break the clips. if they dont break, have them fill and paint it. If the clips break, buy a new filler plate

i just remember it was a hundred to paint it, i forgot how much the filler piece was.

Stealership wants way too much for them. Local one wanted $75 and that's with a buddy discount. I bought one on here for $30 shipped. Never used.

They have 10% off Europlates....dont bother with the bracket, get some heave duty 3m tape and take that filler plate off.
