    Re: Headlight Washer Covers

Easiest way to gain access to the headlight washers is to have them activate and try and grab them as soon as they pop out....otherwise you will have to remove the front bumper.

I cant see how the cover would pop off though....They are a pain to get off, as it is..

chalk it up to bad luck in lossing one . . . they usually are solid at high speeds.

your best bet to get one painted for cheap is to go to a salvage yard and get one there. otherwise mixing the paint for that small job wouldn't be worth the price, unless you can get it painted at the same time they are spraying the same color code on another job.

The dealer might paint them, but charge you labour. You could go to a paint/body shop, but will the cost in paint & labour be worth it?

    Re: Headlight Washer Covers

dont spend 90 bucks to get them painted thats FUCKEN rediculous!!! go to a local auto paint store, give them your paint code they will mix a spray can and paint them yourself. also get a can of good clear, the good clear. It will probally cost you less then 40 bucks. And do it yourself take your time thin coats.

I apologize that this is quite the bump, but I'm sure there's people still searching how to do this, so this is how I managed to do replace the caps myself:

// If you're curious to what the crap is, I used some kind of plastic super glue to hold it down during the winter. Just replaced both caps the right way today.
