Some recent mods to my C5 Avant...

Hello all... I have had my Avant for a little over a week and the urge to modify it has already taken over!

Anyways, I made some tail overlays for the car and wanted to get your opinions on them. I can also make them in smoke and smoke with the reverse cutout, I just haven't had time to mock them up yet.

I'm using transparent vinyl (rated up to 7 years outdoors) that we stock in our store. It's great for tail lights because you can change the look without doing anything permanent (in case you change your mind later). I make a template based on the actual light.. create it digitally on our computer.. then cut it out of the vinyl with our plotter.

We have done tons for the older VW's so I figured the Avants could get some love too.. especially since there aren't ANY aftermarket tails for them
