    My stock boost vs. Stasis Chip boost.

    Ambient pressure was 985 mbar (block 113)
    block 115 logs actual boost.
    PSI = actual boost - 985 * .0145

    Re: Stock Boost

    How is the torque curve with the stasis chip? Is it pretty linear? or more a spike at the low end?

    There is a good spike a bit over 3k RPM which slowly falls off on the way to red line. Compared to my old B6 S4 it does not feel linear at all but it does feel much better then stock (less linear then stock though).

    On my car stock is also around 14psi, but keep in mind that is with a turbo back, intake, and a bunch of little things.

    I never tested my stock, but i got the car chipped with mtm which is a conservative tune at 245hp and 263 tq (pretty similar to stasis). the gauge seems to hold boost at about 17, but ive only tested it the past few days and they have been 90+ degrees out. I would suspect that when it gets cooler into the 70's or 60's i should make another couple pounds of boost.

    Re: Stock Boost

    I foudn that the stock numbers are easily changed with exhuast and all before being chipped...with my exhuast, and testpipe, id stock boost at anywhere between 10-15, and with the chip turned on im 20-25psi
