    Control Arm Kit

So, I've decided that my 100k old bushings in my control arms deserve replacing since I'm installing some Koni Coilovers. I started the project on Monday morning and let me just say that it turns a coilover install into a multi-day ordeal. I ordered the S4 kit (it said on the product page it was a direct fit.) It turned out that the center bushing on the front lower control arm is too wide where the shock bolts up. The fork wouldn't even come close. The company shipped the "correct" part on Tuesday and I expect to see it any day. My question is: What application would have a near-identical LCA but with a larger shock fork?

    Re: Control Arm Kit

Well here are the pics of what I was up against:
The top one is the first piece I received. It's missing the groove for the auto-level sensor, the center bushing is too wide, and the ball joint on the end is the wrong diameter.
The center piece is the replacement part and seems dimensionally identical to the original piece seen on the bottom.

So, I guess my point is, be certain all the pieces match up before starting your install. They are similar enough to pass a casual inspection so be careful!
