    Anyone use the NAPA 1333 or purolator L40316 Oil Filters

    Hi, I have a B6 - A4 1.8t and some left over "big kahuna" oil filters from my GTI. I was wondering if anyone uses these in there B6. I'm more concerned about clearance to use the filter.

    +1. Pep Boys just had a sale - 5 quarts of Mobil 1 plus a filter for around 30 bucks - plus a $5 rebate. I got 5 quarts of 0w-40 and the 1301 filter.

    Been running the L40316 on my A4 for a while. I stick with OEM filters on the new motor though

    I use the beastly Ford 5.0L filters, But I go with K&N, little more expensive, but worth it; They're rated the best!
    Upgraded the motor a little, brakes a little more, and suspension a lot.

    I've once changed the oil once, and I used the Napa Style filter. So far so good. I juse used what they gave me over the counter. Its made by wix.

    mobile oil filter = 9.50
    oem filter = 10.25
    prices may vary
