spare, spare kit, lighter wheels, aftermarket exhausts weigh less, aftermarket brakes weigh less, carbon fiber trunk/hood/fenders, odessey battery rear seat, replace the front seats with lighter seats that will give you more back pain, and lastly, if you have one, a whore of a girlfriend.(i did that back in december. the car dropped 2 tenths in fats times.)

    LMAO

i think you got most of it covered.

if you wanna go hardcore; mats, carpet, door cards, bumper support bar, noise deadening material, console, dash, remove engine covers, airbags, put some lightweight glass etc etc etc... also drive on the reserve gas and hit the gym

i had my spare, back seats, back carpet, all trunk upholstery/sound deadening/ sound deadening tar out this summer. probably a good 90 pounds gone. There really is no way to decrease weight easily in this car. It's just really fuckign heavy. Unless you go hard hard core and take out things that make things comfortable/ not able to DD, you won't lose a lot

I've got a full exhaust, racing brakes, no spare.. I think the carbon fiber hood saves you 25lbs, don't know how much the trunk saves.

I need some light weight 18" wheels!

Re: Weight reduction - what did you remove?

    According to the AWE website:

    Carbon Fiber hood: -33lbs
Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid: - 30lbs
    Carbon Fiber Fenders: -3lbs/each

    Total ~= -69lbs

    Thread explaining wheel weight loss:

PS: My gym experience = -50lbs, but that’s cause I don’t eat Jack in the Box anymore and can afford healthier food than Ramen noodles now that I’m out of college. O, and I started participating in sprint triathlons. I did pick up a gf, but she's only 101 lbs.

    hope it helps

Re: Weight reduction - what did you remove?

It would probably help to take out the two extra amps, 12" sub, and extra battery I have in my car too :)

I think with that, and some carbon fiber goodies, and lightweight wheels, I can loose about 250lbs in the car.

I'm going to go weigh it when I get it back to see how much of a pig it really is.

Nice! I'd be very happy if I can get my car to weight in at 3500 - it's probably about 3700-3800 right now..
