Start up Issue :(

I just got my S4 back from not having it the past couple of months due to a busted tranny. Now that is all set I have had the car back now for about 2.5 weeks and have been noticing harsh start ups only when after the car has been sitting for about 6 and longer when the motor is totally cold basically. I know that my Fan control module has kick the bed but I have not replaced it as of yet. I should also that because of that every time the car is turned on the front AC fan kicks on because the module is dead, do you think that is the reason to why I have harsh start ups? Draws to much from the battery on the start making it tougher? I also just put in a Odyssey PC-925 just a week ago. The only issue that has been known from before and after is the Fan control Module. Any thoughts!

it is like tough turning over like the battery doesn't have enough juice, like something is pulling lots of juice from the battery at start up. But if the car has been running for a while and then I go to turn it back on it will fire right up. Only when it sits is when it acts up

I have the recently installed green coolant temp sensor I don't believe it would be that I also installed that about a 1yr ago

have a shop run a test on the electrical system to see if the battery is putting out sufficent CCAs and if the alternator is charging enough under a load and without.

also, bring the car to the shop, tell them to let it sit for a couple hours before they run the test so its nice and cold, that way youll be able to duplicate the problem while its being tested.

OP. i had the same issue after I had jump started a car, it turned out to be that I took all my battery had out of it. Although you said yours is a new battery so i would say alternator as well, i mean just sounds like it...

when i had the problems, the fuel pump also came into question...
