those are exactly what i'm looking for... Frimmels got bad joints from bending over so much and taking it from the mods in the butt, so he needs the pain meds.

LOL I dunno...I always change mine...but then I am 6"6 260lbs...so on my way to work I'm normally more laid back, but when I wanna thrash on the car, I'm much more upright...

No it's not. If you don't HAVE to sit all gangstered out honestly non adjustable seats are stupid comfortable as long as you get the ones that fit you. I hear oh man that sucks or those are gonna hurt but those people never owned a set, even sat in a set, or drove in them. I was just in Sparco Evo's for 6hrs tonight, shit was putting me to sleep.. I have Status seats in my car, they are a little harsher but I fixed that with a tad more padding. Also some seats have sliders with adjustibility when you bolt them in so you can lean them a little forward or back.

i have a replica set of those, and they work well. no issues as long as your not driving like 10 hours

I guess I'm just used to the seats my dad and I have in our SCCA cars. Then again, those are several years old and more than likely NOT Recaros or Sparcos (in fact, IDK WTF they are!!!)...

^^^F1 racing has those replicas. Never seen them in a S4 though. I seen many in NSX's and s2k's.

I am going to try and use Recaro side mounts (no sliders). I won't know until the seats come in, and I can measure some shit. Watch out for the stuff on eBay, as apparently there are a lot of knock-offs. I was told the knock-offs were actually pretty good, just different seat material, but constructed by some rogue Bride employee.

As for potentially calling my car a Honda, do Honda people spend $800 on cloth seats? They are JDM, but they are the quality JDM.

I spent $500 on a used Recaro Profi SPG. Its quiet comfortable and i like it for daily driving. I also have a Recaro Pro Racer SPG for my track seat which is $1500 each

If your concerned about reclining, these seats will probably take a while to get used to. Sitting up straight is always a + anyway. Quality of this seat is great, you wont be disappointed.

yeah the f1 is what i have, not in my s4 though, everything on the s4 is stock other than drivetrain

very high quality replica shell, the fabric is good but not as high quality as the offical, still a good buy, i got 2 seats for like 350 shipped if i can remeber

very light wieght about 14lbs

I've just ordered a pair of these badboys, Recaro Pole Positions. Got a good deal at a show, 20% off, saved me £300/$600 so I couldn't refuse. They're a spot on match for black leather/blue suede trim in my S4. SOOOO nice, and really comfy. Also the coloured cushions are interchangeable so when a new car comes along no massive expense to get them to match.

Yeah, that is what I was saying earlier. You have to be careful. Best bet is to buy them from a Bride dealer.

Although I was reading around on Bride seats, and apparently the knock-offs are pretty solid. But I would rather have the real deal than skip on something that could potentially be saving my ass.
