    alignment question

today i was at a friends shop and wanted to do an alignment, going to the track on saturday so i wanted to give it some camber, make sure she hooks well in the corners....well to my surprise, rear camber is not adjustable, and the from requires a special tool and the entire subframe has to shif to camber the wheels.....i have been a tech for over 10 years and have never seen anything like this before...then again i never worked on audi's before.....

are there any lil tricks that you guys might know that would be able to share please.....

    thank youi

    Re: alignment question

Without getting a set of adjustable control arms or the "K-Mac" kit the front camber can only be equalized from side to side. Yes, you have to shift the subframe, NO, you don't need any special tools. Hunter software runs you through a bunch of B/S that's unnecessary. Get your impact and an 18mm socket, loosen the subframe bolts (all 8 of them) just a couple threads, and move subframe w/ a prybar.
There's 3 bolts in/through the aluminum bracket by the sway bar mounts and two in the back by the lift points.

The rear camber is adjustable, you're just not looking in the right place. If it hasn't been adjusted in awhile it's probably seized.
EDIT: the adjustment is at the bottom of the spindle. It's a PITA to get to, but it is adjustable.

For high res versions, PM me.
