JHM is good, very good. But when you start with a JHM as a model, it can only get better

JHM and the nice part is your actually buying a product that is made by JHM not just some part that is sourced out, plus they drive an audi.

I have no idea how you can improve on a JHM, but more power to you. I'm interested in seeing what you come up with.

That is done every day, just have to look for "sales".

Funny thing is that I have yet to hear 1 person that has bought the product complain about the price after using it.

    Re: short shift?

We could always make the aluminum bearing portion bigger to replace the whole plastic unit with a full aluminum billet piece. But we scraped that idea in the beginning due to high cost. It probably would only make it 5% more rigid but it would look sick, however the cost would probably increase by 25%.

There is really no improvement needed, you can't do any better than a steel spherical bearing, with a steel shaft and a weighted lower link. The only other huge improvement for the 5-speed cars is a linkage upgrade, which we already make as well.

Would be interesting to see someone make an attempt though. The assembly alone and final finishing would scare most china manufacturers away. It takes more than unskilled slave labor.
