debadge rings or everything

i had just rings on the trunk for a few months and i just cleared it off. ive seen cars with just rings but only a few have it clean. what do you guy got. im new to this so help me out ha

i like mine with no shine in the rear.. i rocked the rings for about 2 weeks, then ripped em off in the grocery store parking lot. looks MUCH better now.

How can it look deformed?

It looks like someone forgot to finish putting the car together, it looks incomplete, there should be something stylistic there to tell you about the car and create an interesting detail for the eye to behold. That's my opinion, I gave it in answer to the opinion asking question and you are welcome to present a different opinion.

that picture looks amazing. I left just the rings on mine though. It looks unbalanced if you have rings in the front and none in the back and I think no rings anywhere just looks weird.

It's a logo, thats all.. serves no purpose but to say "this is an Audi".. I have rings on the back only for now, everything else is gone... but strip it down, if you don't like it, it will cost you a nickel to put it all back on... but at least you'll know for yourself.

Keeping the quattro badge is an interesting idea but it looks a little out of place, even though that's where it's supposed to go. Relocating it might do some good. Maybe an inch or so higher?

I debadged everything of the trunk. I think it looks clean like that, who cares if others don't know its an audi. It's about what you personally like, not others. Your the one that is going to see it every day.

I did mine that way, turns out better in the stock 99.5 location I think. since I live in mostly rural area and there's an audi for every flying pig it throws people off as to what the car's name is, I had one person ask me if that was my "Audi quattro" sitting out in the parking lot. :)

rings only ftmfw. currently im trying to decide if i want to do a red exterior theme (brilliant black w/ red rings front and back, red calipers, and red fmic piping). when i first shaved my rear badges it made a lot of the tiny dings/scratches in the deck lid a lot more noticeable, but i still think its an improvement from all the bling on there. it all comes down to personal preference as many have said. its your car. what do you want it to look like?

Same here... Rings only on the back... and a Quattro badge on the grill... no other badges anywhere!
