    i got a 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro 5 speed. Are my Rpms correct when cruising at 60mph to be around 2900-3100 RPMS? any other vehicle i have driven rpms idles around 2300-2500rpms when in 5th gear and at 60mph. Anything to worry about?

    That is normal.. and around 4k at 80... it sucks but oh well.

    is there a reason why our engines are so high in the rpms? makes me wish i had a 6th gear :)
